We meet monthly on the 1st Monday of the month, apart from December.  Meetings feature raffles and interesting programs from some of the greatest names in fly-fishing.  Our meetings are held at 7 PM at the Addison Conference Center. During the summer months free casting lessons are held on the lawn in front of the Center starting at 6 PM. Ready to join -- just complete and mail our Membership Application.

 

Visitors are encouraged and always welcome!!!

 

February 1 Meeting -- Taylor Streit / New Mexico guide and author of Fly Fishing New Mexico.

 

February 6 Outing -- Cypress Springs / Bob Sandlin.  I30 East to Mt. Vernon exit. Go one mile south on Hwy 37. Turn on Hwy 21 east and drive to park entrance on the left before you cross the bridge over the lake. The trout pond is 1/2 mile via a path off the park road.  Meet at the trout pond at 9 AM.

 

 
 

 

 
  Seminars and courses by members, professional fishermen and others in the field. Covering fly tying, fly rod building, antique equipment, where to fly fish and other aspects of the sport. Dallas Flyfishers works with local Boy Scout troops teaching them fly fishing and fly tying for the Fly Fishing Merit Badge.  We tie flies every Saturday at Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine, starting at 9:00 AM -- come by and learn how much fun it is to tie your own flies!!!  
 

 

 
  Our members represent years of experience on the waters of North Texas. And, among our membership are folks who have traveled around the world in search of prize fly-fishing experiences.  Click here for maps  
 

 

 
  Once a month, DFF organizes outings to a nearby fishing hot spot where DFF members join together in fly-fishing, camping and good company.  
 

 

 
  The DFF Library consists of over 300 books and video tapes. These were carefully selected as the best available on warm water fly fishing and fly tying.  Take a look at the library listing.
